At 4:00 PM today, Governor Beshear will announce extra steps to combat the exponential growth of COVID-19 cases in the Commonwealth. In a videoconference with Mayors and County Judge Executives from around the State earlier today, the Governor and Chief Medical Officer, Steven Stack, stated that the current rates of COVID-19 will overwhelm hospitals and capacity of the health care system.
